wonderful experience
enormous size wonderful shower convenient parking accommodating staff
i appreciated the enormous size of my lovely room. the shower was wonderful. the hotel offers parking directly opposite, so useful. the staff were friendly and accommodated my request to change dates with ease.
the breakfast was busy around 9am, so i went a little earlier the next day.

quiet comfort and beautiful decor
beautiful decoration tasty option friendly staff
The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. breakfast was amazing with many tasty options. the staff were friendly and cute. we would love to visit again.
I found dragging luggage upstairs challenging. there wasn't any warning about this. It was unexpected when travelling with heavy bags. i hope the hotel can improve this detail.

A Good Stay Close to the Seafront
delicious breakfast friendly staff warm room comfortable bed
The breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked each morning. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. My room was clean and quite warm (this was nice given the time of year). The bed was comfortable and I slept well.
I found carrying my luggage up the stairs a little difficult.

uneven experience with cleanliness and noise
noise level shower drain
the staff seemed friendly enough .
the noise levels were quite bothersome on the first floor i could hear every footstep and door slam above me it was distracting especially when i needed to concentrate on work furthermore the shower didn't drain properly which led to flooding in the bathroom it was a real inconvenience after a long day the condition of the chairs left much to be desired.

a fairly standard visit
historical building modern update building decoration dog smell poor experience unpleasant odor
the styling and decoration were excellent. the historical building had a modern update. facilities was to be adequate.
The room we occupied smelled of dog. we were moved, but later a doggy smell reappeared. it was very poor. If you don't have a dog, you would definitely smell it, which we did.

the room was a superior superking suite bath & shower and it felt spacious. decor beautiful and the shower is lovely and big. bottled water is supplied, which i think it is great.
the room we had smelt of dog, which wasnt nice. i was moved but as the night went on a doggy smell was again, very poor.

room cleanliness difficult parking
I was a bit let down by the cleanliness. the room and shower room weren't very clean, disappointing. also, the parking situation wasn't ideal (even though i paid for gated parking). Dragging luggage to the room was a hassle. (the receptionist did help, but i'm not sure if that's always the case).
